I recently did some research into this topic and I thought I would share some of the results with you guys. Below, in no particular order, are x5 examples of inspiring / interesting use of video content in webdesign.

1. Uncertainty movie official website.

Wonderful use of vimeo movie content. Vimeo video is added as part of the design of the header, I haven’t seen this done before. Very nice I think you will agree. PS I haven't seen the movie.

2. Vimeo

The super duper vimeo. I can not fault this website. Movie sites generally have a cluttered feeling to them this site is light, functional and fun.

3. Organic Super Market

Ok so this may be a flash movie but hey it has moving content so its in. The site is designed around this wonderful animation which gives you the impression you are taking a stroll through the shop.

4. 140 Characters

The film shows footage of 140 characters in Ireland the website goes along with this theme and allows you to click into each characters scene or view the movie as a whole.

5. Nike

Yes the super giant Nike. Obviously Nike are advertising heavyweights but I dooo like this site. You can view pretty much all their adverts here. In addition there is something nice about how the movies have little or no frame whilst the buttons seem to hang off it.
